PRINTED OR EMBROIDERED

We are happy to print or embroider on your own items.

What We Do

Here at Printigo Birmingham, we understand that sometimes you would like to bring in your own items to be printed or embroidered. This is not a problem but we would need to see the garment and know what it is made from to confirm that we will be able to print onto it.

We also ask that all the garments are clean, any stickers or labels have been removed so they do not disrupt the process when we are printing the garments. We would need all of the pockets empty and no badges or obstructions left on the fabric.

Fast Turnaround

We Design It

Once you have spoken to one of our staff members and confirmed everything you require we will begin the design work.

Mock up / Proof

We then move on to getting a proof ready for you. This will be how the design will look, positioning on the garment and close up of any embroidery that has been made.

Production

You will have an email with the proof. Once you confirm that you are happy we will start the production process.

Order Complete

When you order is complete you can collect it from our Birmingham store or we can post it out to you.

Customer Supplied Garments Information

From working in the decoration industry for long time, we understand why you may want to bring in your own garments for us to print or embroider. We just want you to have all the information to make an informed choice before having garments printed or embroidered with us to avoid any problems occurring.

All items need to be clean and free from any stickers or other additional labelling placed on by the manufacturers.

We need to know the make up of the fabric that we are going to be decorating, especially if we are applying Vinyl, Transfer or Screen Printing to the items.

Embroidery

Embroidery should be fine on most garments, however thinner material, like light weight t-shirts are not ideal to hold all the stitches. When the garment is in the machine there is a small chance of the machine creating a hole in the fabric. We do our best to minimise this but we cannot guarantee that this will not happen on your item.

Vinyl Printing

Vinyl printing offers great personalisation on one item. All garments need to be clean, and free from any stickers. We need to know the make up of the fabric and if it has already been printed, i.e. most football shirts are sublimated and the dye may come through the print if we are not aware of it. We will always do our best to advise when we see the actual garment so please talk to our staff.

Transfer Printing

Transfer printing is very similar to the Vinyl Printing. If you are having sponsors or full colour images printed onto garments we could get the same dye migration through the transfer. We will do our best to minimise this but we are unable to know what extent it will be until it is actually printed onto the item.

Screen Printing

Screen Printed items are great for large orders. The ink is pushed through a screen onto the garments, this could cause some ink bleeding from the text. We do our best to minimise this effect and our screen printing department work tirelessly to maintain the highest standard.

If needed we send mock ups, this is in case of any mishaps that happen during the decoration process, so we cannot be held responsible for the cost of damage to the garments. We will reimburse the cost of the print or embroidery.
